Our roots stretch back decades, through independent IT companies that built their businesses one client relationship at a time.
Here’s how those separate stories became part of something bigger.
1976
The Early Days
DS Tech in Michigan and MCA in Tennessee are among the earliest businesses in what would eventually become the New Charter network.
Systems Solutions in Kentucky and CTSI in Texas also have roots stretching back decades.

Over the years, these independent companies built their own teams, earned the trust of local businesses, and developed expertise shaped by the clients and communities they served.

New Charter Takes Shape
New Charter is founded in 2019 by Mitch Morgan., with ActiveCo, DCG, Apex, and PennComp among its first four companies.
The idea: bring together established IT businesses and give them more opportunities to grow and work together.
